The information packets for the '09 D12 Spring Regional in Costa Mesa have been mailed - if you are a current paid member of LPA District 12 you should be getting yours in the mail shortly. If you haven't gotten yours and think you should have, or if you lost it and need to print a new copy, please check the event listing for the regional here - you can download a copy of the PDF from there.

Recent Passings

The LPA has lost two well-loved members recently.

First, David Bradford, one of the Bradford brothers, who passed in his sleep on the evening of Feb 13th. David did a tremendous amount of volunteer work for LPA, in addition to volunteering as one of the Core Committee members of the Portland 1999 conference. Dave's celebration of life will be held on 1 March 2009 at the Oregon State University's CH2M Hill Aluimni Center - Willamette Room - in Corvallis, OR. Rather than using the Forums for announcements and stuff like that, I've added blog capability to the website. I'll be using the blog to make announcements, pass on general information, and stuff like that. The blog will appear in the middle of the main page as well as on its own page under the "People" tab.
